Welcome to Bel & The Dragon, at The Red Lion.
Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion is a beautifully restored coaching inn, nestled in the historic market town of Wendover at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire. The Grade-II listed building retains many of its original features from as far back as 1669, but possibly earlier in origin.
We are undertaking an extensive renovation project led by renowned interior designers Simple Simon. Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion will offer 23 boutique bedrooms alongside an all-new Bar & Restaurant, private dining room and stunning new garden terrace.
Our menu focuses on great British food with a huge emphasis on provenance and quality. Whether you are after a delicious dinner, simple lunch, drinks with friends or a gourmet weekend away, the team at Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion look forward to welcoming you.
